Can anyone tell me why people now hate Kevin Rudd?

Yes, he reminds me of Tim Brooke-Taylor (google if you don't know who I'm talking about).
Yes the "fair shake of the sauce bottle" thing was incredibly try-hard.
But, wasn't he the head of a whole entire party? Didn't they & even the opposition have to reach some sort of accord to enact legislation? Didn't Australia manage to miss the worst of the Global Financial Crisis? Did he personally screw up the insulation? I'm pretty sure that one was a group effort.
I just don't get why people think changing the person at the top of the pile will change the entire party's policies or the whole country somehow.

I couldn't agree more! Labour is on the way out and the sooner the better! If it was not for the independents and the Greens then Julia would not be in power now! All they seen to do is argue among themselves and back-stab each other. The budget was a last ditch effort to get votes when election comes, but all it has done is target the lower income people and forget about those who are working hard to make ends meet. They need to call an election sooner rather than later and get our country back on track before we end up with nothing left at all.
