have the days of chivalry gone.i still like to open doors for ladies or stand on puvblic transport for ladies.but some women object to this since womens lib has been introduced.what do you think.david

I still open doors, use my manners, greet people in the street, let ladies go first... I was once told "to treat with women with respect not because they are ladies, but because you are a gentleman." I'm yet to be 'abused' for opening a door or letting someone else go first, and even if I was, it wouldn't stop me the next time the opportunity arose!
