Hi Arch, Folks,
Geez! Easter was WHEN? Crikey! How time flies! That was when I was in here last.
Anyway, here's a real Fun (depending how you take it) and simple recipe for kids to disgust their mates with. I call it SHIT ON TOAST. Sorry! I told you it depends how you take it! First, a little story of its origin.
Believe it or not, I was disgustingly insulted by my own mother when, in front of myself, she "jokingly" told one of her visiting mates, making fun of my appetite, that I would, "eat shit if it was sugared." Naturally, I hit the roof and called her a disgusting old bag.
One day, while doing the dishes, a plate slipped and I splashed myself, and without thinking yelled, "Shit on toast!" To which my mum had the cheek to say to me, "don't be so disgusting!" At which I fired back a reminder of how disgusting she was about me, and I still got no apology, and I kept using that term.
Another day, also while doing the dishes, I was thinking about what I said and tried to think of what such a recipe would be, and then it hit me.
For the benefit of the kids, we'll call it something else, aye? How about Crap on Toast? Geez! It sounds worse! Okay! I'll leave it to you, but you may think the original is more "fun." Its very simple and probably makes MARMITE taste better than it does. Oh, What a Give away!
The recipe is simple! Maybe a little messy as well.
Make the "Shit" by mixing 50/50 Marmite and CRUNCHY Peanut Butter, then spread it on Buttered Toast.
I can't use Marmite, because there is NO Marmite, thanks to the Earthquake damage in Christchurch. The Sanitarium Factory where it is made is MUNTED! Besides, I'm a. . . VEGEMITE lover. And, NO! I won't use Vegemite for it. And I am very sure other Vegemite lovers know why. Because Marmite is. . . spread on Toast.
Ha! Sorry!
