Hi, have just moved in with my man, and he cant cook really and hes good when he cooks but makes a mess and doesnt want to learn the basics. How about sharing some basic dinner recipes for the man!?

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak
2 kgs beef sirloin, cut into 2 inch strips ( can use gravy beef or brisket meat)
garlic powder to taste
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cube beef bouillon (oxo)
1/4 cup hot water
1 tablespoon cornflour
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 large green peppers, roughly chopped
1 can diced tomatoes, with liquid
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Sprinkle strips of sirloin with garlic powder to taste. In a large skillet
over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil and brown the seasoned beef strips.
Transfer to a slow cooker. Mix bouillon cube with hot water until dissolved,
then mix in cornflour until dissolved. Pour into the slow cooker with meat.
Add onion, green pepper, stewed tomatoes, soy sauce, sugar and salt cook for 6-8 hours on low, i serve with creamed potatoes and beans and peas.
