Hi, have just moved in with my man, and he cant cook really and hes good when he cooks but makes a mess and doesnt want to learn the basics. How about sharing some basic dinner recipes for the man!?

Hey Palls!, You just put the rice, Garlic, peas, lentils and spring onion, if using them, into the pan of rice cooker or a pot, and add enough boiling water to cover them with another 1/4 inch or so, I add stock cube to this and blend that in. If using a rice cooker with a vegetable tray on top, just fill the tray with whatever veggies you want - corn, sweet potato slices, cauliflower broccoli, brussel sprouts etc and close lid. Set button to cook and then wait...If using pan, just fill pan with rice mix, and put a steamer plplate on top with the veggies of choice in that. Cook on med to high heat for about 12 - 15, until rice is cooked. Once rice is cooked just add Lemon juice and olive oil etc walnuts and cheese.... to hot rice. Scrum!
