Hi, have just moved in with my man, and he cant cook really and hes good when he cooks but makes a mess and doesnt want to learn the basics. How about sharing some basic dinner recipes for the man!?

Hi Palls, I know what you mean! If you have access to a rice cooker, a really good and super easy recipe for a quick dinner is - rice and vegetables. I make the rice with garlic and spring onions, peas and/or lentils and stock. With my rice cooker, I can steam vegetables at the same time - I usually do brussel sprouts, sweet potato and small corn cobs, When it's all cooked, and this is just me, but I put a little olive oil, soy sauce and lemon juice with some parmesan cheese through the hot rice and some walnuts if I have any. You could pan fry a chicken breast. or a bit a fish with this. I usually have dinner on the table in about 20 minutes
