Australian cricket team shame

By their actions Steve Smith and his team have managed to undo in one day what it has taken Australian cricket years to achieve. Because of this I strongly feel that the whole team starting with CEO James Sutherland (who has handled the whole affair quite badly) needs to be sacked and a completely new team formed if Australia is to ever regain any sort of credibility on the world stage

I totally agree Nefertari, James Sutherland should definitely go. I think there has been a build up of hate because of the way Australia play, I said it since Smith took over, they are arrogant, bad loosers, the sledging from the whole team is disgraceful. This time Warner mouthed off to de cock & got more back than he bargained for & cracked the shits. Darren Lehman to come out after that altication and say, that's how we play & complain about what was said to Warner was a joke. Then Warner to have a security guard near him while fielding on the boundary, seriously. I agree with Elgar their "pleasant" behaviour won't last, all the smiles and no chirping won't last with this current team, because you are who you are & they are bullies. I also don't think for a minute that this is the first time Warner had done this. He & Smith were warned in a shield game in 2016, so it's just Smith didn't have the gumption to stand up to Warner & stop it, as a result he & Bancroft are where they are now.
It's interesting to hear today that Smith might go to England and play county cricket, when Bancroft has his Surrey contract terminated. Maybe cause Smith has an English parent? Not sure he'll be welcomed over there.
Did you see "caught out" on the ABC?
Interesting to watch & see past players opinions. Worth a watch if you missed it.
They, the ICC, are thinking maybe they should be allowed to play state cricket. I personally don't think so.
Great topic, be interested in your thoughts.
Cheers
Lisa :)
