Thinking of traveling from Manchester to Iceland in July or August next year for about six nights after visiting relatives in the UK. Would like to hear from anyone who has been regarding flights, accommodation, day tours, weather etc. Iceland is very expensive so airbnb etc may be an option.

Yes one day I would love to travel there as I have just recently read an article in the National geographic magazine about Iceland and sounds fascinating. I travelled to Norway this year as it is the country of my birth even though I have lived in Australia for most of my life so far. The scenery there was amazing and i think Iceland would be another interesting and scenic option for me.
