Home Brand vs Named Brand

Are there brands that you used to buy that are no longer in your local supermarket? What do you think of all these 'home brands'? Are they just as good as the named brands, are they cheaper, or are you still hankering after something in particular that just seems to have disappeared from the shelves? Give us your opinion.

Most home brands belong in the bin.
They are rubbish. I got some shredded coles brand low fat pizza cheese because it was the only one they had when I wanted some. Put it on a home made pizza. Got tbe pizza out the oven looking forward to a nice slice. Couldn't cut the cheese with a knife. Tried scissors couldn't dint it. I couldn't even pull it off the top so I could have pizza no cheese. I had to bin it. I wont buy that rubbish ever again
