Are there brands that you used to buy that are no longer in your local supermarket? What do you think of all these 'home brands'? Are they just as good as the named brands, are they cheaper, or are you still hankering after something in particular that just seems to have disappeared from the shelves? Give us your opinion.

I buy homebrand for products like flour, sugar, milk, garbage bags/some toiletries. However, I won't buy certain things that are homebrand again such as coffee, tea, cling wrap, baked beans, beetroot, corn kernals, chocolate or cake ... they are bin worthy. I've just read that 'Toobs' chips are being discontinued (Noooo!) and have noticed that certain confectionery no longer exists, i.e: Polly Waffles, spearment leaves.
