I find the difference between Home Brand items and Named brand items are sometimes unnoticeable! with many trying to save that extra buck here and their many a time I find myself looking to score a bargain but questioning is that dollar cheaper loaf of bread or Home brand imported product or imported fruit & veg worth the dollar saved???
With many regards I would like to think many Australians try to shop locally or purchase produce of Australia and I think that is a concern of home brand products is the thought of where does this produce come from (National or international) and what hidden preservatives or extras are in the cheaper item but I think although their may not be any upfront differences in the taste, ingredients or amount with home brand compared to Named brands but I think the quality and support of Australian produce can be disregarded to just save that extra dollar, and in a future economy I think that extra dollar is a dollar worth spent if it is supporting home grown and produced products
