Do you travel far on public holidays or do you prefer to stay home - and why

Hi,
I like to travel & do things so staying at home is not usually my first choice.
There is so many things to see & do in the great Australian outdoors and with the extra day you can get out of the rat race to unwind. Often you only need to drive a couple of hours or fly a couple.
