I am interested in learning about what volunteer work people do, how they got started in it, what it involves and what they like about it or not like about it?

I have been doing volunteering work for nearly 50 years, I started as a teenager,
helping out with sporting groups.
I have found that many people of my age have been doing volunteering work all their lives, but there is very few if any younger people coming behind to take over when my age becomes too old to continue.
I think volunteering is a great time to show other people what can be done in the community. But many people these days think they are too busy to help out in their community.
