Is it bad manners? Noisy (or nosey) neighbours? Crude dress? Expensive groceries? Rainy days? I know this isn't an overly positive toipc, but as is life, we're only human and sometimes things just tick us off...

Vicious gossip about boat people. Why can't they be treated in the same way as the postWW2 refugees? They were put on contract to the govt for 2 years and sent to wherever workers were needed and if they met the conditions were then free to stay. They contributed to the work force and were self sufficient.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT; would you get on a leaky boat with your family, travel to a foreign country where you were unwelcome and didn't speak the language or understand the culture, in danger from pirates on the trip, arrive to be jailed without trial for an unspecified period IF THERE WAS NO VALID REASON?
