Is it bad manners? Noisy (or nosey) neighbours? Crude dress? Expensive groceries? Rainy days? I know this isn't an overly positive toipc, but as is life, we're only human and sometimes things just tick us off...

A stepson who has just come to live with us. We have been giving him chance after chance about his lying, but time after time he continually lies & today we discovered that he has taken items out of this house that don't belong to him without asking for the weekend. I don't mind if he asked if he could take these items with him on the weekend. I asked him if everything in his bag belonged to him & his reply was "yes. I'm taking this & that (items mentioned) not about the extra items. As far as I am concerned this is stealing & if these items are not returned to this house when he returns, well he will be punished for stealing. He has broken any trust that he has earned in the last 3 weeks, therefore his bag will be checked on a regular basis's from now on.
