Is it bad manners? Noisy (or nosey) neighbours? Crude dress? Expensive groceries? Rainy days? I know this isn't an overly positive toipc, but as is life, we're only human and sometimes things just tick us off...

Parents who won't control their children in public places (such as shops) or in private property (such as my shed!!). I really feel my blood pressure go up when parents let their kids harass others and play with merchandise in shops. It's not that hard to rein them in - for example, my married daughter had a rule for her kids "This is a hands-in-pockets place". If the kids tried pushing the boundaries, they were taken outside and told that their behaviour had led to them being taken away from the things they were interested in. Sometimes the kids would ask me politely "Pa, can I have a look at such and such?" in my shed, and it was a delight to pick it up and offer it to them for inspection - knowing they would respect it.
My wife and I found that the only cure for friends' kids who kept transgressing the boundaries at our place was to stop inviting them around.
