Do you wish Christmas would come and go quickly or do you look forward to it with great enthusiasm? Do you believe Christmas has lost its meaning given all the materialistic connotations associated with it or does it still have a special place in your heart?

Personally, I enjoy Christmas but there's definitely a few things about it that I could do without. Personally, I can't stand the Chrismas music in the stores around the November - December period, the rudeness of customers, the extorted prices, the junk mail cluttering up the mailbox, the excessive advets on TV. Also, it's rediculous for us New Zealanders and Australians to be eating hot roast meals in the middle of summer.

I always have a problem with Christmas creeping up on me. No matter how organised I am, there's always something I've forgotten at the last minute. Thankfully, I now do all my Christmas shopping online, where I can find the best deals, don't have to wait in lines and I can listen to my own music of choice! Hallelujah!

However, I do enjoy the decorating, the delicious home-cooked meal (it doesn't HAVE to be a roast!) and a champagne toast with my family and friends.

My family have decided to celebrate a mid-winter Christmas in July this year which I think is a wonderful idea!
