Do you wish Christmas would come and go quickly or do you look forward to it with great enthusiasm? Do you believe Christmas has lost its meaning given all the materialistic connotations associated with it or does it still have a special place in your heart?

I love Christmas (except the shopping) when I was a kid we, my 4 brothers and 3 sisters used to get a game (eg: monopoly) between us and if we were lucky new store bought pair bloomers, thats right bloomers lol, .. we were luckier than most my Dad may he RIP was a carpenter and he always made us a toy as well, he also kept 8 kids together as the mother had left, we had good food and were never lonely, being 60 now I sit back and let mt 3 sons and my younger brothers & sister spoil me, just turn up with pressies for the kids, my nephew said where do I get my imagination from as I always buy the kids things that they can use and really appreciate, i just told him I'm older and these ideas I get are things from over the years of buying gifts for all ages and even things I had wished for as a child...
May you all have a very Merry Christmas and a better New Year
