Do you wish Christmas would come and go quickly or do you look forward to it with great enthusiasm? Do you believe Christmas has lost its meaning given all the materialistic connotations associated with it or does it still have a special place in your heart?

I don't have kids but all my family and friends do. I feel that Christmas has become WAY TOO commercial and people feel they have to spend all this money on things that will just get put into a cupboard. I get angry at the marketing that puts in peoples minds the idea that the more they spend the more special the occassion is. Christmas is about love and sharing that love. It is about the birth of Chirst and that should be the focus of the day.
I really don't enjoy Christmas I feel that it is a stressful day and all this money is wasted.
This year I have recycled presents and will be making them. I feel that this gives more value to my gifts as they are directly from me not bought.
