Do you wish Christmas would come and go quickly or do you look forward to it with great enthusiasm? Do you believe Christmas has lost its meaning given all the materialistic connotations associated with it or does it still have a special place in your heart?

Christmas to me, still means family, whether they are with you or not, this year will be the first year without my step father (rip), so it will be a little hard this year on my family, but some good news is, my niece will be here for Christmas, from Australia, so a little happier.
I have two children, who are still a little young to get excited with Christmas, one who is Autistic, and really still does not even realize what it is about. (will tell him when he is more aware).
As for whether Christmas has lost its meaning ... yes i do think the reality of Christmas and its meaning have all but disappeared, as a lot of people do not know what the meaning is all about, and how the jolly fat man came to be.
