Do you wish Christmas would come and go quickly or do you look forward to it with great enthusiasm? Do you believe Christmas has lost its meaning given all the materialistic connotations associated with it or does it still have a special place in your heart?

I used to love xmas, I couldn't wait to put up the tree and organise the turkey and shop around for pressies, but now I find it too much effort. It may be a result of me growing older and the children left home, but I just don't have the xmas stamina I used to have. I feel it is all a marketing technique now and it has lost it's true meaning. I would rather have a quiet xmas doing something I love like gardening, than going all over the countryside visiting relatives etc on xmas.
