Yesterday I had my very first Manicure, Pedicure and Brow Wax. Well, don't I feel like a Granny Diva. All I can say is thank God for discount vouchers, otherwise I would never have even considered getting painted and waxed. I was pleased to learn from the beautician that lots of "more mature" folk take advantage of her services. Power to me. I'm saving up for the next round. I would love to hear from my partners in pampering about their experiences.

More power to you Frilly.
We can pamper on a budget with some forward thinking.
I can relate to the compliments. Only today, my solicitor gave me a hello peck on the cheek and said "looking sassy my lady". Well, didn't that make my day. Hubby was sitting next to me and just gave a OMG sideways glance. Mind you ... it was like a mother, son kind of hello ... but ... whatever makes me smile is more than OK.
