My mother is 87 and she raised us on greasy foods and lots of salt. She is very healthy. Supposedly healthy foods arent always healthy , What do you think?

Yes she was brought up on a farm. Food was sometimes fatty , eg fresh milk with the cream on top. A lot of the old cooking skills have gone. even as a child I seemed to have more vegies. Thank God prices have gone done on fruit and vegies.{ I do grow a lot also). But even though meat wasnt as lean as you can get it now, it was a hell of a lot cheaper. Sometimes i think L amb roasts are becoming a thing of the past to some families. I still love roast lamb with mint sauce. Unprocessed foods are definately a lot better.
