Hi PGS,
I hope you haven't got one of those cloakable Rece Droids sneaking around getting Recipes from people cooking their meals at all times of the day!
Your Porrige sounds just like the way I do mine. Unlike you, though, I use a small 70g Tomato Paste tin as a measure. I mentioned it in one of my entries. I keep my Harraway's Rolled Oats in a couple of Sellotape canisters, and my HARRAWAY'S Whole Grain Oats in a large VANISH canister.
To a bowl, I put the Nappy San lid in and pour the wholegrain oats in and then just empty it in. Then add two 70g measures of Rolled Oats. I then poke a small hole in the Oats and pour some salt in and then a Spoonsful of Raw Suger and then mix the whole lot together.
By then, the jug has boiled and I add the water, covering it all. I then mix it all together and cover with a plate to cook.
If you like, before adding the water, I add a very small shake of cinnamon, a dusting really, and a teaspoon of Butter and the same of Olive Oil.
Try this, you'll love it! Obviously you add a splash of Milk. YUMMM!
