l was the 3rd person to have gastric banding done in Australia way back in 1982, and have just had the band removed 9 weeks ago, after it was found to be
un-necessary due to a pituitary tumour that caused the weight gain 40 years ago, l had a normal diet but without any lumps in it, one of the best for me was rolled oats made very thinly, and mashed eggs very lightly poached almost strained.
The most important thing is to try and keep fiber in your system and eat very small portions. Good luck with your bypass, l lived with mine for almost 30 years and it at times was a struggle but l survived and so will you.
